Emilio Lustau Description
Wine Enthusiast: 91 Points
Opens with a wonderful set of nutty, dry aromas along with pit fruits like nectarine, apricot and peach. The palate is a cacaphony of toasty, peppery flavors sweetened by caramel and brown sugar. It has a fine feel and balance, and then finishing notes of browned butter and saut?ed mushroom. Delicious oloroso.
Wine Spectator: 87 Points
This off-dry oloroso delivers coffee and caramel flavors, with accents of soy and iodine. Well-balanced, with a lingering note of burnt molasses. Drink now. 1,000 cases imported.
Stephen Tanzer
Light red-brown. Big, nutty, roasted coffee nose. Nicely balanced, richer than the Emperatriz. Nice drinking. 87 Points Gerry Dawes in IWC Issue 57 Nov/Dec '94 - Tanzer
