Peter Viverito, Wine Manager

Peter came to Young's in late 2006. He is an industry veteran with fine wine experience that dates back to the late 1980's where he began at Astor Wines & Spirits in downtown Manhattan. In 1994, Peter captained the Astor W&S team through the esteemed Windows on the World Wine Challenge, where his team was crowned champion of the Retail segment of the competition. By 1996, Peter took on a new frontier as a salesperson for NY distributor, Premier Wines & Spirits. He sold wine to the finest Wine & Spirits stores and restaurants in Manhattan, and used that experience to become the Wine Buyer and Store Manager of Sutton Wine Shop in 2000. When you are in the store next, please ask for Peter to discover the latest wine trends, the hot regions, and the great producers.

Robbie Sandor

Robbie earned his first pocket change in his native Hungary working at his Grandfather's side in their small family vineyard. As a young man, Robbie's passion for wine led him to visit the great wine regions of Europe. Later in life, working in the international airline industry, he expanded his wine knowledge through his travels to wine producing countries throughout the world. He is armed with a lifetime of wine knowledge, and is always ready to help you pick the right bottle for the meal or special occasion. So, come on in and let him guide you through the aisles of the Wine Room. While he finds you a gem, he may also entertain you with a wine and travel adventure story.

Brad Haskel

Brad has arrived at Young's with well over twenty years in the wine industry. Some of his background includes East Coast Regional Sales Manager for Cosentino Wine Estates, East Coast Regional Sales Manager for Parducci Wine Estates, and Vice President and National Sales Manager for The Golan Heights Winery. Brad is a graduate of the Professional Culinary program at the NY Restaurant School, is a certified Sommelier through the Sommelier Society of America, and he has passed the "Advanced Certification" through the London Wine & Spirits Guild. Brad will be a part of sales team, help with the newsletter, and teach some of the on-going Wednesday and Sunday wine education classes.

Kim Caldwell

When walking through the aisles of our Wine Room, if you meet a woman possessed with a passion for all wine related topics, you have run into Young's "Wine Know", Kim Caldwell. Kim's interest in wine, travel, and food was first fueled by a trip to Villa Antinori in Tuscany during the early 90's. Kim is an active member of Robert Parker's Wine Forum where she can often be found organizing themed wine dinners at some of Manhattan's finest restaurants. A seat at her annual Barolo Bash is a coveted invite. At Young's, Kim makes good use of her Education degree by teaching the Women and Wine and Sippin' Sunday classes. She introduced the fun, fast paced educational Wine in a Minute video series found on our web site. When you need to find the right wine for a special occasion, Kim is always ready to assist you.

Brett Berrie

Brett brings a lifetime of wine experience that started from growing up with a Mom who passed on her technical knowledge and enthusiasm for wine. While in college at George Washington University, he furthered his wine education while working at the well respected Colonial Wines & Spirits. Brett's career path took other directions, with successful stints in both the auto and gift industries. Still, his passion for wine remained. Brett avidly collects wine, and is always on the hunt for the next great undiscovered find. Next time you see him in Young's Wine Room, make sure you tap into his reservoir of wine expertise.
